Your story
holds your remedy.

Storytelling, inspiration, & courses for people who are looking for where they belong.

I know that your life hasn’t always been easy.

You’ve felt out of place. Lost and disconnected from the people you’re “supposed” to be closest to. You question yourself and wonder if and where you belong.

But even when you’ve looked outside of yourself for people who have stories like yours, you’ve still felt alone.

I understand. I felt confused about my true identity for most of my life.

I figured out how to find my home in this big, complicated world...

by telling my own story.

Storytelling has allowed me to understand everything I’ve gone through and, better yet, realize the strength I’ve found along the way.

It has allowed me to uncover the richness of my history and process some of the pain and grief that came with it.

It has been my act of reclamation and my act of resistance.

If you feel broken, lost, or forgotten, exploring your story, and the stories of your ancestors, will help you feel whole again, too.

Hi, I’m Brittany.

I am a Métis storyteller, family physician, writer, and lecturer, with Anishinaabe, Cree, and Eastern European lineage.

I have found who I am by looking into who I’ve come from. Exploring and sharing my story is how I heal myself over and over again.

I’m here to inspire you with my writing, courses, and speaking to take the time to get to know your own story so that you can find your own form of healing.

Tell Your Story. Heal Yourself.
